WE ARE BACK OUTSIDE
We have now moved back outside still on a Friday at 6:30pm.
If you haven’t experienced it yet please come along for a friendly game, chat to friends & neighbours and of course enjoy the facilities from the Sports Bar.
WINTER EVENTS
Although we have moved inside for the winter, if you feel like braving the elements please join us for a couple of outside events before Christmas. There be a chance to catch up, play a bit of boule and have a friendly drink or too!
Also a chance to start planning for next year. Any ideas for facility improvements welcome and if you are interested in playing in the Keystone Petanque leagues let us know.
We have moved indoors for the winter season. Great turnout for our first night, thanks to everyone who came along. Some people were very happy with their efforts….
End of Season Finals Day
The Chalke Valley Petanque Club registered its first official medal success at the Keystone Brewery Finals Day, hosted by our trusty team of volunteers. With this motley crew winning the Triples Knockout Final. We are committed to playing in the league again next year which was a friendly but competitive experience venturing out to various pubs and clubs in Wiltshire and Dorset over the summer. We are hoping to enter two teams next year, so come and have a go and next year it could be you with the medals!!
Friday nights through the summer are our “Petanque – come and try ” evenings where you can come along and try it for free the first time then just £2/per person going forward – see details below in the events list. No booking required – just come along.
These are fun social evenings with experts on hand to guide you throught the simple rules of the game.
A selection of beers, wines, soft drinks and nibbles are available from our bar.
Getting more involved couldn’t be easier. Simply make contact via email to register an interest.
The club team have entered a local league and play petanque at home or away once a week against other local clubs from Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset.
