Facilities for all the Chalke Valley

We have had a successful summer with new Summer Holiday camps delivered in partnership with both FAR Sports and District Sports; the Little Badgers Cricket coaching was a great success and is hopefully the start of further junior cricket at the Centre. We also hosted the Chalke Valley Fete and Show which was another enjoyable afternoon for families at the Centre.

Now, with the change in season upon us, there is a great deal of sport, health and fitness activity available at the Centre.

MONDAYS – Pilates; Short Mat Bowls

TUESDAYS – Yoga; Intermediate Tennis

WEDNESDAYS – Zumba; Pétanque

THURSDAYS – Tennis Club Mix-ins

FRIDAYS – Short mat bowls; Pétanque

SATURDAYS – Junior Football matches

SUNDAYS – U17’ Football matches; Tennis Mix-ins; Table Tennis

CAPITAL WORKS: The Committee have successfully applied for grants to support refurbishment works to the changing rooms and water service systems. We are looking how best to configure toilet and changing provision with a view to securing additional storage and meeting space. A key component of this would be a change to unisex toilet provision, much in the way that the Coffee Shop at the Hub provides for its customers. We would be interested in your views on this.

If you are interested in joining one of the clubs or taking up a new sport, just come along. You will be made most welcome.

We are also delighted to be the home venue for junior and youth football this coming season with HotspireFootball Club

Wessex Internet. We are currently working with Wessex Internet to bring fibre to the Sports Centre that will enable us to host more meetings and events.

 The hall is available for private hire so if you have a family celebration in the coming weeks, why not see what we can offer?
